Natural Alternative & its benefits
Egghance Red is composed of Paprika extracts, containing active colorants like Capsanthin and Capsorubin. Both are two different carotenoids found in paprika extract that can be used in poultry feed to enhance the color of egg yolks and skin. These carotenoids enhance poultry product aesthetics and market value.
Paprika extract in poultry feed is safe and effective, posing no harm to egg quality or laying hen health. The plant extract adds red xanthophyll’s to the bloodstream, intensifying egg yolk color. The deposited xanthophyll’s enhance yolk coloration. Vibrant yolk color indicates superior egg nutrition, elevating market value in poultry farming.
The Need
Challenges shows lack of natural antioxidants, Poor skin pigmentation, suboptimal yolk color, reduced shelf life of eggs, potential health implications. Insufficient intake of red carotenoids can lead to an inability to achieve the desired red color.
Also, disruptions in lipid metabolism may hinder carotenoid incorporation and color development. A deficiency in these antioxidants in the yolk could compromise the bird’s ability to combat oxidative damage and reduce the overall health of the reproductive system.


FEED INCLUSION RATE:
- For achieving a Roche color fan value of 12-14, the dosage is 600 gm/ton of feed for a brighter orange color
- Powder products can be directly blended with the feed
- The product should be mixed with the feed at the time of feeding
- Once the product is opened, it should be finished within 48 hours or stored in appropriate conditions for the best results.
